| Our Region Convention 'Port of Call' will be Panama City Beach, FL. ETA will be the afternoon of the 25th of April and depart in the morning of the 29th. I have persuaded, threatened and cumshawed the SLEEP INN & SUITES to put us up, provide us a party room and feed us. I have sweet talked the Fleet reserve (Just down the road) to put on a couple items for us also. There’s plenty to keep us busy there, so don’t make me have to put out any rules to get you aboard. According to the CO, the registration form must be filled out, I’m just following orders. If it were up to me, all would be free…
Reservations can be made at the SLEEP INN & SUITES by calling 850-249-2501. Mention “SubVets convention”. 9201 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL. 32407. They have Suites, Handicap and adjoining rooms available in limited amounts. (Call early) They include a Continental breakfast PLUS each morning. Includes waffles, biscuit and gravy and other items.
The cost of all rooms is $84.00 plus 11% tax. The Hospitality room and banquet room is almost a gangway length away, in a separate building. It can be viewed at www.thepalmspcb.com.
Check-in will be in the lobby. The first 125 subvet member registrations will receive a brief bag with logo. All will receive a name tag with color coding for each event you have paid for. These must be worn to each event to identify you. On the back of each tag will be a number, this will be the door prize drawing number for each individual at the banquet.
Registration/hospitality room will be $25.00 each except for under 21 which is free. They will be charged for other events. Hospitality room will be open every day, with exception of being closed during memorial Service..”

| The Cincinnati Base will host the 2010 USSVI and WWII Submarine Veterans National Convention at the Drawbridge Inn in Fort Mitchell, KY
The Convention will be August 30 through September 6. There will many exciting activities and events along with Boat Reunions. You may contact the Cincinnati Base Commander, Roger Crombie at pigboat1@woh.rr.com for information pertaining to the Convention.

| The OZARK/RUNNER BASE and the City of Springfield, MO invite you to join us for the 2011 National Convention of the USSVI in Springfield, MO. from Mon. Sept 5 to Sun. Sept 11, 2011. | Location: Norfolk, Va. The Marriott Hotel, Norfolk Waterside is the primary hotel (800-874-0264) with the Sheraton Hotel, Norfolk Waterside as the back-up and Boat Reunion Hotel (888-627-8042).
